Serving Greater Bryan & College Station Since 1998

Our History

Todd Carnes came to College Station to study in Engineering at Texas A&M University in 1995. He became a Realtor in 1997 and began building homes the following year in 1998. Todd and his wife Michelle have continued to grow this company into a design/build company. They chose a team that contributes to the perfect vision of each and every home.

Our Philosophy

Todd Homes is a family owned company; Todd is the general contractor and Michelle does the design of spec homes and often works with customers to make selections. Todd and Michelle work together to conceptualize a home that will demonstrate their level of design, taste and quality. They build each home as if it was their own. Every detail does truly matter to them and they work as a team to get the final results. What they want is a beautiful finished product, which will equal a happy and satisfied homeowner.

Todd and Michelle saw a need to offer their customers the opportunity to get all their needs met from one company. Besides building quality homes, they offer outdoor additions, landscaping, fireplaces, fire pits, pergolas, kitchens and swimming pools to their partnered company Paradise Oasis Pools. We highly recommend them help you create the backyard oasis you have dreamed of in the backyard of the home we built together. Start making memories now with your family and friends.

Meet The Team

We got a whole team of people we work with. But the two primary people who run the company are husband and wife, Todd Carnes and Michelle Carnes.

 Todd Carnes

Todd has been living in Bryan/College Station since 1995. He moved here to attend Texas A&M University in 1995 majoring in Petroleum Engineering. He and his wife Michelle have 4 children; Drake, Dylan, Kierstin and Dalton. He started building homes in 1998 and has continued his passion for building quality homes since that time. Todd is committed to building an exceptional home for you, one that you can be proud of. Todd's passion for building will ensure that your building process will be enjoyable and exciting. "Building a home should not be stressful, it should be an exciting time for the whole family."

 Michelle Carnes

Michelle moved here in 1995 to attend Texas A&M University. Together with Todd, they have started the construction business in 1998. She has loved home building because it gave her the opportunity to stay home with her children but still work by meeting clients to make selections for their homes. She has continued to do most of the interior design on their spec homes and loves working with people. She went back to finish her degree and graduated in 2011 with a BS in Psychology. She enjoys utilizing her creative side and has a true love for design and the latest trends.

"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." Maya Angelo

 Dylan Carnes

My name is Dylan Carnes, a construction supervisor for Paradise Oasis Pools and Todd Homes. I hope to be as skilled and knowledgeable as my father about construction and engineering one day. I am currently enrolling in online construction science classes as well as becoming a certified pool builder. I am a father, fiancé, and proud American who loves construction. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and working out during my free time.

“Great to work with Todd. We did very unique things in our house, and he never said NO! Always found a way to make things work. Very accessible and quick to reply. Had good crews working for him. If things weren't correct, he made sure they corrected the problem. Good knowledge of the building process, easy to work with.”

We purchased a Todd Homes house in Castlegate II in College Station, and had a great experience. We loved their design choices, the layout of the floor plan, and the build quality. Todd actually cares about the future homeowner and makes good choices when it comes to technical decisions, such as installing a tankless water heater, adding separate AC zones for each section of the house, etc. They were quick to respond to any follow up issues and addressed any concerns we had.

I would definitely recommend to choose Todd Homes as your builder.
